Very unprofessional Doctors have a duty of care, I do not feel that is what happened recently. I waited almost 2 weeks for an appointment. I left more than early enough expecting to have to wait for my appointment. But there was exceptional traffic problems in and around town centre and I phone and explained I will be a bit late. I queued nonstop from Harvester roundabout all the way to the surgery. Got there 10 min late and doctor refused to see me. I have waited up to 20 min for the doctor before but that was ok. Another patient came in and he was also late but his doctor agreed to see him. I am a contractor I get paid by the hour taking time off is difficult, currently I am under a lot of stress working 10 hour days. I really did not need my GP to make things even worse for me. Especially since I have never been late before, the traffic problem made the news it was so bad. Worst of all I am only going back again because my problem is still not resolved and getting worse. I am really disappointed I always thought the doctors at Boundary was a cut above the rest, but after being treated like that I no longer think so. So now I have to take more time off from work to see her. Do I leave an hour earlier instead of 30min, keeping in mind I live only 3.7 miles from the surgery? Do I really feel I am going to get the best care? Really difficult to put my trust into someone who does not have compassion and empathy.PG

She is my doctor and my son's doctor as well. My son is 35 and autistic and he loves seeing Doctor John. She is very informal and makes him feel at ease from the moment he enters the consulting room. She's always smiling and treats him like a young person would treat another young person. There's a lot of humour and reassurance that "that could happen to other people" We have great confidence in Doctor John and this is the best thing that could have happened to my son who used to be afraid of doctors due to a lot of test he had when he was little. Now he's happy to go to his appointment without any problem.

Since joining the practice Dr John has helped me with several serious health issues, her care & personal commitment to me has been exemplary in all aspects. She will listen to you carefully & take time to fully explain anything you do not understand. I never feel rushed when seeing her & she shows a genuine concern for her patients. I consider myself extremely lucky to be one of those people who has her as their GP she is most assuredly a benefit to the profession. (on a personal note i cannot understand or comprehend the negative reviews here, they all seem to be contrary to what i know of this dedicated Doctor)
